No Festival in 2010

June 1, 2010: The Board of Directors of the North Pacific Music Festival Society
regretfully announce today that Music & Friends 2010 will not take place this year
as planned due to insufficient financial resources to host the two-day festival.

Welcome to Music & Friends!

Music & Friends is an annual family-friendly event founded by the North Pacific Music Festival Society in 2005.

Its goal is to provide exposure for artists from the north pacific region and to provide an opportunity for them to develop their musical skills through performance and public appearance.

In addition the festival aims to promote the appreciation for music and to inspire youth development in the arts.

Music & Friends believes promoting community spirit through music allows cross-cultural interaction of different community members.
